Enpates

  • ENPATES (European NGOs Platform against Trafficking, Exploitation and Slavery)

The project is funded by the European Commission – DG “Freedom and Security”, Programme: Prevention of and Fight against Crime. The project aims at establishing a Pan-European stable and flexible platform for anti-trafficking NGOs to develop an effective coordination strategy to contribute to the promotion and protection of the human rights of trafficked persons. Specific project objectives are:

  • to enhance the information exchange (about the nature of the phenomenon, policies, practices, events, etc) between European NGOs;
  • to facilitate and enhance contacts and coordination of actions among organizations providing assistance to trafficked persons (e.g. legal, social, health and general assistance services);
  • to facilitate networking between NGOs for different purposes (project partnership building, advocacy and lobbying, mainstreaming of policies and good practices, etc)
